¹⁶ And ^(A)I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered.

¹⁷ Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.”

² And I will make My ^(A)covenant between Me and you, and ^(B)will multiply you exceedingly.” ³ Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: ⁴ “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be ^(C)a father of ^[a]many nations. ⁵ No longer shall ^(D)your name be called ^[b]Abram, but your name shall be ^[c]Abraham; ^(E)for I have made you a father of ^[d]many nations. ⁶ I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make ^(F)nations of you, and ^(G)kings shall come from you. ⁷ And I will ^(H)establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, ^(I)to be God to you and ^(J)your descendants after you.

¹³ Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You ^(A)swore by Your own self, and said to them, ^(B)‘I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.’ ”
