Good News Translation
2 went to war against five other kings: Bera of Sodom, Birsha of Gomorrah, Shinab of Admah, Shemeber of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (or Zoar). 3 These five kings had formed an alliance and joined forces in Siddim Valley, which is now the Dead Sea. 4 They had been under the control of Chedorlaomer for twelve years, but in the thirteenth year they rebelled against him.

2 these kings went to war against Bera king of Sodom, Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, Shemeber king of Zeboyim,(A) and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar).(B) 3 All these latter kings joined forces in the Valley of Siddim(C) (that is, the Dead Sea Valley(D)). 4 For twelve years they had been subject to Kedorlaomer,(E) but in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
