^18 (A)In that same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land: ^(B)from the river of Egypt unto the great river ^[a]Euphrates.

⁷ Moreover, I will establish my covenant between me and thee, and thy seed after thee in their generations, for an ^(A)everlasting covenant, to be God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

⁸ And I will give thee and thy seed after thee the land, wherein thou art a stranger, even all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.
