13 She called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees,” for she said, “Here have I really seen him who sees me?”[a] 14 Therefore the well was called Be’er Lahai Roi.[b] It is right there between Kadesh and Bered.

15 Hagar gave birth to a son for Abram. Abram named his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.
