¹⁶ And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

⁸ But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

² Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

¹⁶ Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.
