⁴ “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be ^(A)a father of ^[a]many nations. ⁵ No longer shall ^(B)your name be called ^[b]Abram, but your name shall be ^[c]Abraham; ^(C)for I have made you a father of ^[d]many nations. ⁶ I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make ^(D)nations of you, and ^(E)kings shall come from you.

¹⁸ since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be ^(A)blessed in him?

³ So He said, “I am God, ^(A)the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will ^(B)make of you a great nation there.

⁵ And you shall answer and say before the Lord your God: ‘My father was ^(A)a ^[a]Syrian, ^(B)about to perish, and ^(C)he went down to Egypt and ^[b]dwelt there, ^(D)few in number; and there he became a nation, ^(E)great, mighty, and populous.

⁸ And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You ^(A)have chosen, a great people, ^(B)too numerous to be numbered or counted.
