¹⁴^(A) I am the Lord! There is nothing too difficult for me. I'll come back next year at the time I promised, and Sarah will already have a son.”

¹⁵Sarah was so frightened that she lied and said, “I didn't laugh.”

“Yes, you did!” he answered.

¹⁶When the three men got ready to leave, they looked down toward Sodom, and Abraham walked part of the way with them.

¹⁴Is anything too hard for the Lord?^(A) I will return to you at the appointed time next year,^(B) and Sarah will have a son.”^(C)

¹⁵Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.”

But he said, “Yes, you did laugh.”

¹⁶When the men^(D) got up to leave, they looked down toward Sodom, and Abraham walked along with them to see them on their way.
