He looked up, and he saw three men standing near him.(A) When he saw them, he ran from the entrance of the tent to meet them, bowed to the ground, and said, “My lord, if I have found favor with you, please do not go on past your servant. Let a little water be brought, that you may wash your feet and rest yourselves under the tree.

Abraham looked up(A) and saw three men(B) standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.(C)

He said, “If I have found favor in your eyes,(D) my lord,[a] do not pass your servant(E) by. Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet(F) and rest under this tree.
