2 (A)he looked up and saw three men standing there. As soon as he saw them, he ran out to meet them. Bowing down with his face touching the ground, 3 he said, “Sirs, please do not pass by my home without stopping; I am here to serve you. 4 Let me bring some water for you to wash your feet; you can rest here beneath this tree.

2 Abraham looked up(A) and saw three men(B) standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.(C)
3 He said, “If I have found favor in your eyes,(D) my lord,[a] do not pass your servant(E) by. 4 Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet(F) and rest under this tree.
