2 And he said, “Now behold, my lords, please turn aside into your servant’s house, and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way.” They said, “No, but we shall spend the night in the public square.” 3 Yet he strongly urged them, so they turned aside to him and entered his house; (A)and he prepared a feast for them and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. 4 Before they lay down, (B)the men of the city—the men of Sodom—surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people [a]from every quarter;

2 “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet(A) and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.”
“No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”(B)
3 But he insisted(C) so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house.(D) He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast,(E) and they ate.(F) 4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom(G)—both young and old—surrounded the house.

3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
