26 Then his wife, from behind him, (A)looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.
27 Now Abraham arose early in the morning and went to (B)the place where he had stood before Yahweh; 28 and he looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the [a]valley, and he saw, and behold, (C)the smoke of the land went up like the smoke of a [b]furnace.

New International Version
26 But Lot’s wife looked back,(A) and she became a pillar of salt.(B)
27 Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord.(C) 28 He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.(D)
