³⁶ So both of Lot’s daughters ·became pregnant [conceived] by their father. ³⁷ The older daughter gave birth to a son and named him Moab. He is the father of all the Ammonite people [^Clocated just north of Moab; Moab and Ammon were enemies of Israel] who are still living today [^Cat the time this was written].
