Genesis 2:8-10

8 And Yahweh God planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there he put the man[a] whom he had formed. 9 And Yahweh God caused to grow every tree that was pleasing to the sight and good for food. And the tree of life was in the midst of the garden, along with[b] the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
10 Now[c] a river flowed out from Eden that watered the garden, and from there it diverged and became four branches.

New International Version
8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden;(A) and there he put the man he had formed. 9 The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees(B) that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life(C) and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.(D)
10 A river(E) watering the garden flowed from Eden;(F) from there it was separated into four headwaters.
