Life in God’s Garden

The Lord God planted (A)a garden (B)eastward in (C)Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God made (D)every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. (E)The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and (F)evil.

10 Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads.

Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden;(A) and there he put the man he had formed. The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees(B) that were pleasing to the eye and good for food.
