² and there Abraham said of his wife Sarah, “She is my sister.^(A)” Then Abimelek^(B) king of Gerar sent for Sarah and took her.^(C)

¹⁴ Then Abimelek^(A) brought sheep and cattle and male and female slaves and gave them to Abraham,^(B) and he returned Sarah his wife to him.

²⁶ Meanwhile, Abimelek had come to him from Gerar, with Ahuzzath his personal adviser and Phicol the commander of his forces.^(A)
