Genesis 20:5-7
EasyEnglish Bible
5 Abraham told me that Sarah was his sister. And she herself said, “I am his sister.” So I am not guilty! I did not think that I was doing a bad thing.’
6 God spoke to Abimelech again in a dream. He said, ‘That is true. You did not think that you were doing something wrong. I know that. So I did not let you touch her. I stopped you from doing anything wrong against me. 7 You must now give her back to her husband. He is a prophet and he will pray for you. Because of that, you will not die. But if you do not give her back, you and all your people will surely die.’

New International Version
5 Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister,(A)’ and didn’t she also say, ‘He is my brother’? I have done this with a clear conscience(B) and clean hands.(C)”
6 Then God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept(D) you from sinning against me.(E) That is why I did not let you touch her. 7 Now return the man’s wife, for he is a prophet,(F) and he will pray for you(G) and you will live. But if you do not return her, you may be sure that you and all who belong to you will die.”(H)
