³³Abraham planted a tamarisk tree^(A) in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the Lord,^(B) the Eternal God.^(C)

³³And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the Lord, the everlasting God.

⁵Are your days like those of a mortal
or your years like those of a strong man,^(A)

⁵Are thy days as the days of man? are thy years as man's days,

¹²You will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed.
But you remain the same,^(A)
and your years will never end.”^[a]^(B)

¹²And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
