11 And behold an angel of the Lord from heaven called to him, saying: Abraham, Abraham. And he answered: Here I am.
12 And he said to him: Lay not thy hand upon the boy, neither do thou any thing to him: now I know that thou fearest God, and hast not spared thy only begotten son for my sake.

10 Then he reached out his hand and took the knife(A) to slay his son.(B) 11 But the angel of the Lord(C) called out to him from heaven,(D) “Abraham! Abraham!”(E)
“Here I am,”(F) he replied.
12 “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God,(G) because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.(H)”
