10 And Abraham stretching forth his hand, took the knife to kill his son.
11 But the Angel of the Lord called unto him from heaven, saying, Abraham, Abraham. And he answered, Here am I.
12 Then he said, Lay not thine hand upon the child, neither do anything unto him: for now I [a]know that thou fearest God, seeing for my sake [b]thou hast not spared thine [c]only son.

10 Then he reached out his hand and took the knife(A) to slay his son.(B) 11 But the angel of the Lord(C) called out to him from heaven,(D) “Abraham! Abraham!”(E)
“Here I am,”(F) he replied.
12 “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God,(G) because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.(H)”
