⁴ “I am ^(A)a sojourner and a foreign resident among you; ^(B)give me a ^(C)possession for a burial site among you that I may bury my dead out of my sight.”

The Redemption of Land

²³ ‘The land, moreover, shall not be sold permanently, for ^(A)the land is Mine; for ^(B)you are but sojourners and foreign residents with Me.

²⁹ At this remark, ^(A)Moses fled and became a sojourner in the land of ^[a]Midian, where he ^(B)was the father of two sons.

^13 (A)All these died in faith, ^(B)without receiving the promises, but ^(C)having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and ^(D)having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. ¹⁴ For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own.
