¹⁰ Then the servant took ten of his master’s camels and departed, ^(A)for all his master’s goods were in his hand. And he arose and went to Mesopotamia, to ^(B)the city of Nahor.

¹¹ And he made his camels kneel down outside the city by a well of water at evening time, the time ^(A)when women go out to draw water.

¹⁵ When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But ^(A)Moses fled from ^[a]the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of ^(B)Midian; and he sat down by ^(C)a well.

^16 (A)Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters. ^(B)And they came and drew water, and they filled the ^(C)troughs to water their father’s flock.
