53 Then he brought out objects of silver and gold and clothing and presented them to Rebekah; he also gave costly presents to her brother and mother. 54 After he and the men with him had eaten and drunk, they spent the night there.
When they got up the next morning, he said, “Allow me to return to my master.”(A) 55 Her brother and mother replied, “Let the young woman stay with us a short while, say ten days; after that she may go.”

53 Then the servant brought out gold and silver jewelry and articles of clothing(A) and gave them to Rebekah; he also gave costly gifts(B) to her brother and to her mother. 54 Then he and the men who were with him ate and drank and spent the night there.
When they got up the next morning, he said, “Send me on my way(C) to my master.”
55 But her brother and her mother replied, “Let the young woman remain with us ten days or so;(D) then you[a] may go.”
