33 So he called it Shiv‘ah [oath, seven], and for this reason the name of the city is Be’er-Sheva [well of seven, well of an oath] to this day.
34 When ‘Esav was forty years old, he took as wives Y’hudit the daughter of Be’eri the Hitti and Basmat the daughter of Elon the Hitti. 35 But they became a cause for embitterment of spirit to Yitz’chak and Rivkah.

33 He called it Shibah,[a] and to this day the name of the town has been Beersheba.[b](A)

34 When Esau was forty years old,(B) he married Judith daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and also Basemath daughter of Elon the Hittite.(C) 35 They were a source of grief to Isaac and Rebekah.(D)
