⁵ because Abraham listened to My voice and kept My mandate, My commands, My statutes, and My instructions.”^(A)

¹⁴ “This day is to be a memorial for you, and you must celebrate it as a festival to the Lord. You are to celebrate it throughout your generations as a permanent statute.^(A)

¹⁷ This is a permanent statute^(A) throughout your generations, wherever you live: you must not eat any fat or any blood.”^(B)

³ You must observe it at its appointed time on the fourteenth day of this month at twilight; you are to observe it according to all its statutes and ordinances.”^(A)

² Do this so that you may fear^(A) the Lord your God all the days of your life by keeping all His statutes and commands I am giving you, your son, and your grandson, and so that you may have a long life.
