21 Again said Isaac unto Jacob, Come near now, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be that my son Esau, or not.
22 Then Jacob came near to Isaac his father, and he felt him and said, The [a]voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.
23 (For he knew him not, because his hands were rough as his brother Esau’s hands: wherefore he blessed him.)

New International Version
21 Then Isaac said to Jacob, “Come near so I can touch you,(A) my son, to know whether you really are my son Esau or not.”
22 Jacob went close to his father Isaac,(B) who touched(C) him and said, “The voice is the voice of Jacob, but the hands are the hands of Esau.” 23 He did not recognize him, for his hands were hairy like those of his brother Esau;(D) so he proceeded to bless him.
