¹³ And behold, ^(A)Yahweh stood ^[a]above it and said, “I am Yahweh, ^(B)the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it ^(C)to you and to ^(D)your seed.

¹⁶ Go and ^(A)gather the elders of Israel together and say to them, ‘^(B)Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has appeared to me, saying, “^[a](C)I indeed care about you and what has been done to you in Egypt.

⁵ “that ^(A)they may believe that ^(B)Yahweh, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”

³² ‘^(A)I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”

²⁶ But ^[a]regarding the fact that the dead are raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, ^(A)in the passage about the burning bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘^(B)I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

³⁷ But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed in ^(A)the passage about the burning bush, where he calls the ^[a]Lord ^(B)the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
