Genesis 3:21-23

21 The Lord God made for the man and his wife garments of skin, with which he clothed them. 22 Then the Lord God said: See! The man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil! Now, what if he also reaches out his hand to take fruit from the tree of life, and eats of it and lives forever?(A) 23 The Lord God therefore banished him from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he had been taken.

New International Version
21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.(A) 22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us,(B) knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life(C) and eat, and live forever.” 23 So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden(D) to work the ground(E) from which he had been taken.
