3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, [a]lest ye die.
4 Then the (A)serpent said to the woman, Ye shall not [b][c]die at all,
5 But God doth know that when ye shall eat thereof, your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, [d]knowing good and evil.
