²⁴Then God came to Laban the Aramean^(A) in a dream at night and said to him,^(B) “Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.”^(C)

²²But Absalom spoke to Amnon ^(A)neither good nor bad, for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had violated his sister Tamar.

²²And Absalom never said a word to Amnon, either good or bad;^(A) he hated^(B) Amnon because he had disgraced his sister Tamar.
