³ Then the Lord said to Jacob, ^(A)“Return to the land of your fathers and to your family, and I will ^(B)be with you.”

¹² Now therefore, go, and I will be ^(A)with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”

¹⁵ Now ^(A)you shall speak to him and ^(B)put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and ^(C)I will teach you what you shall do.

¹⁴ And He said, ^(A)“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you ^(B)rest.”

¹⁵ Then he said to Him, ^(C)“If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. ¹⁶ For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, ^(D)except You go with us? So we ^(E)shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.”

^23 (A)Then He inaugurated Joshua the son of Nun, and said, ^(B)“Be strong and of good courage; for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land of which I swore to them, and I will be with you.”
