⁴⁸ Then Laban said, “This mound is a witness between you and me today.” Therefore the place was called Galeed

⁵² This mound is a witness and the marker is a witness that I will not pass beyond this mound to you, and you will not pass beyond this mound and this marker to do me harm.

¹⁹ Therefore write down this song^(A) for yourselves and teach it to the Israelites; have them sing it,^[a] so that this song may be a witness for me against the Israelites.

²⁶ “Take this book of the law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God so that it may remain there as a witness against you.

²⁷ And Joshua said to all the people, “You see this stone—it will be a witness against us,^(A) for it has heard all the words the Lord said to us, and it will be a witness against you, so that you will not deny your God.”
