Genesis 33:15-17
New American Standard Bible
15 Then Esau said, “Please let me leave with you some of the people who are with me.” But he said, “[a]What need is there? (A)Let me find favor in the sight of my lord.” 16 So Esau returned that day on his way to Seir. 17 But Jacob journeyed to [b](B)Succoth, and built for himself a house and made booths for his livestock; therefore the place is named Succoth.

Genesis 33:15-17
New International Version
15 Esau said, “Then let me leave some of my men with you.”
“But why do that?” Jacob asked. “Just let me find favor in the eyes of my lord.”(A)
16 So that day Esau started on his way back to Seir.(B) 17 Jacob, however, went to Sukkoth,(C) where he built a place for himself and made shelters for his livestock. That is why the place is called Sukkoth.[a]
