Jacob Comes to Canaan

¹⁸ Then Jacob came ^[a]safely to ^(A)the city of ^(B)Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padan Aram; and he pitched his tent before the city.

⁷ And the territory of Manasseh was from Asher to ^(A)Michmethath, that lies east of Shechem; and the border went along south to the inhabitants of En Tappuah.

⁷ So they appointed ^(A)Kedesh in Galilee, in the mountains of Naphtali, ^(B)Shechem in the mountains of Ephraim, and ^(C)Kirjath Arba (which is Hebron) in ^(D)the mountains of Judah.
