17 But if you will not listen to us and be circumcised, then we will take our daughter and be gone.’
18 Their words pleased Hamor and Hamor’s son Shechem. 19 And the young man did not delay to do the thing, because he was delighted with Jacob’s daughter. Now he was the most honoured of all his family.

18 Their proposal seemed good to Hamor and his son Shechem. 19 The young man, who was the most honored(A) of all his father’s family, lost no time in doing what they said, because he was delighted with Jacob’s daughter.(B)
