17 Now it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, “Do not fear; (A)you will have this son also.” 18 And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name [a]Ben-Oni; but his father called him [b]Benjamin. 19 So (B)Rachel died and was buried on the way to (C)Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).

17 And as she was having great difficulty in childbirth, the midwife(A) said to her, “Don’t despair, for you have another son.”(B) 18 As she breathed her last—for she was dying—she named her son Ben-Oni.[a](C) But his father named him Benjamin.[b](D)
19 So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath(E) (that is, Bethlehem(F)).
