Genesis 35:8-10
Good News Translation
8 Rebecca's nurse Deborah died and was buried beneath the oak south of Bethel. So it was named “Oak of Weeping.”
9 When Jacob returned from Mesopotamia, God appeared to him again and blessed him. 10 (A)God said to him, “Your name is Jacob, but from now on it will be Israel.” So God named him Israel.

Genesis 35:8-10
New International Version
8 Now Deborah, Rebekah’s nurse,(A) died and was buried under the oak(B) outside Bethel.(C) So it was named Allon Bakuth.[a]
9 After Jacob returned from Paddan Aram,[b](D) God appeared to him again and blessed him.(E) 10 God said to him, “Your name is Jacob,[c] but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel.[d]”(F) So he named him Israel.
