Genesis 35:9-12
Christian Standard Bible
9 God appeared to Jacob again after he returned from Paddan-aram, and he blessed him. 10 God said to him, “Your name is Jacob; you will no longer be named Jacob, but your name will be Israel.”(A) So he named him Israel. 11 God also said to him, “I am God Almighty.(B) Be fruitful and multiply.(C) A nation, indeed an assembly of nations, will come from you,(D) and kings will descend from you.[a](E) 12 I will give to you the land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac.(F) And I will give the land to your future descendants.”

New International Version
9 After Jacob returned from Paddan Aram,[a](A) God appeared to him again and blessed him.(B) 10 God said to him, “Your name is Jacob,[b] but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel.[c]”(C) So he named him Israel.
11 And God said to him, “I am God Almighty[d];(D) be fruitful and increase in number.(E) A nation(F) and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will be among your descendants.(G) 12 The land I gave to Abraham and Isaac I also give to you, and I will give this land to your descendants after you.(H)”(I)
