12 One day, when his brothers had gone to pasture their father’s flocks at Shechem, 13 Israel said to Joseph, “Are your brothers not tending our flocks at Shechem? Come and I will send you to them.” “I am ready,” Joseph answered.

11 His brothers were jealous of him,(A) but his father kept the matter in mind.(B)
Joseph Sold by His Brothers
12 Now his brothers had gone to graze their father’s flocks near Shechem,(C) 13 and Israel(D) said to Joseph, “As you know, your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem.(E) Come, I am going to send you to them.”
“Very well,” he replied.
