²⁸ Then some ^(A)Midianite traders passed by, so they pulled him out and lifted Joseph out of the pit, and ^(B)sold ^[a]him to the Ishmaelites for ^[b]twenty shekels of silver. So ^(C)they brought Joseph into Egypt.

³² If the ox gores a male or female slave, ^[a]the owner shall give his or her master ^[b](A)thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.

¹⁵ and said, “What are you willing to give me ^[a]to ^[b](A)betray Him to you?” And ^(B)they set out for him thirty ^[c]pieces of silver.

⁹ Then that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: “^(A)And ^[a]they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of the One whose price had been set by the sons of Israel; ^10 (B)and ^[b]they gave them for the Potter’s Field, just as the Lord directed me.”
