Genesis 39:20-22

20 And Joseph’s master took him and put him in [a][b]prison, in the place, where the king’s prisoners lay bound: and there he was in prison.
21 ¶ But the Lord was with Joseph, and [c]showed him mercy, and got him favor in the sight of the [d]master of the prison.
22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison, and [e]whatsoever they did there, that did he.

Genesis 39:20-22
New International Version
20 Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison,(A) the place where the king’s prisoners were confined.
But while Joseph was there in the prison, 21 the Lord was with him;(B) he showed him kindness(C) and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.(D) 22 So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.(E)
