Genesis 41:42-44

42 Removing his signet ring from his hand, Pharaoh put it on Joseph’s hand; he arrayed him in garments of fine linen, and put a gold chain around his neck. 43 He had him ride in the chariot of his second-in-command; and they cried out in front of him, “Bow the knee!”[a] Thus he set him over all the land of Egypt. 44 Moreover Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no one shall lift up hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”

42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring(A) from his finger and put it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in robes(B) of fine linen(C) and put a gold chain around his neck.(D) 43 He had him ride in a chariot(E) as his second-in-command,[a](F) and people shouted before him, “Make way[b]!”(G) Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt.(H)
44 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, but without your word no one will lift hand or foot in all Egypt.”(I)
