27 After inquiring how they were, he asked them, “And how is your aged father, of whom you spoke? Is he still alive?”(A) 28 “Your servant our father is still alive and doing well,” they said, as they knelt and bowed down. 29 Then Joseph looked up and saw Benjamin, his brother, the son of his mother. He asked, “Is this your youngest brother, of whom you told me?” Then he said to him, “May God be gracious to you, my son!”(B)

27 He asked them how they were, and then he said, “How is your aged father(A) you told me about? Is he still living?”(B)
28 They replied, “Your servant our father(C) is still alive and well.” And they bowed down,(D) prostrating themselves before him.(E)
29 As he looked about and saw his brother Benjamin, his own mother’s son,(F) he asked, “Is this your youngest brother, the one you told me about?”(G) And he said, “God be gracious to you,(H) my son.”
