²⁶ And they told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt.” ^(A)And Jacob’s heart stood still, because he did not believe them.

²⁸ Then Israel said, “It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”

³⁰ And Israel said to Joseph, ^(A)“Now let me die, since I have seen your face, because you are still alive.”

¹¹ And Israel said to Joseph, ^(A)“I had not thought to see your face; but in fact, God has also shown me your offspring!”
