6 They also took their livestock and their possessions, which they had acquired in the land of Canaan, and (A)came to Egypt, Jacob and all his [a]descendants with him: 7 his sons and his grandsons with him, his daughters and his granddaughters, and all his [b]descendants he brought with him to Egypt.

8 Now these are the (B)names of the sons of Israel who went to Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn.

6 So Jacob and all his offspring went to Egypt,(A) taking with them their livestock and the possessions(B) they had acquired(C) in Canaan. 7 Jacob brought with him to Egypt(D) his sons and grandsons and his daughters and granddaughters—all his offspring.(E)
8 These are the names of the sons of Israel(F) (Jacob and his descendants) who went to Egypt:
