6 They also took their livestock and the goods that they had acquired in the land of Canaan, and they came into Egypt, Jacob and all his offspring with him, 7 his sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters; all his offspring he brought with him into Egypt.

6 So Jacob and all his offspring went to Egypt,(A) taking with them their livestock and the possessions(B) they had acquired(C) in Canaan. 7 Jacob brought with him to Egypt(D) his sons and grandsons and his daughters and granddaughters—all his offspring.(E)
8 These are the names of the sons of Israel(F) (Jacob and his descendants) who went to Egypt:
