²⁹ And ^(A)when the time drew near that Israel must die, he called his son Joseph and said to him, “If now ^(B)I have found favour in your sight, ^(C)put your hand under my thigh and ^(D)promise to deal kindly and truly with me. ^(E)Do not bury me in Egypt,

¹⁴ And the men said to her, “Our life for yours even to death! If you do not tell this business of ours, then when the Lord gives us the land ^(A)we will deal kindly and faithfully with you.”
