Genesis 48:9-11
New Century Version
9 Joseph said to his father, “They are my sons that God has given me here in Egypt.”
Israel said, “Bring your sons to me so I may bless them.”
10 At this time Israel’s eyesight was bad because he was old. So Joseph brought the boys close to him, and Israel kissed the boys and put his arms around them. 11 He said to Joseph, “I thought I would never see you alive again, and now God has let me see you and also your children.”

9 “They are the sons God has given me here,”(A) Joseph said to his father.
Then Israel said, “Bring them to me so I may bless(B) them.”
10 Now Israel’s eyes were failing because of old age, and he could hardly see.(C) So Joseph brought his sons close to him, and his father kissed them(D) and embraced them.(E)
11 Israel(F) said to Joseph, “I never expected to see your face again,(G) and now God has allowed me to see your children too.”(H)
