³⁰ the cave in the field of Machpelah,^(A) near Mamre^(B) in Canaan, which Abraham bought along with the field^(C) as a burial place^(D) from Ephron the Hittite. ³¹ There Abraham^(E) and his wife Sarah^(F) were buried, there Isaac and his wife Rebekah^(G) were buried, and there I buried Leah.^{(H) 32} The field and the cave in it were bought from the Hittites.^[a](I)”
