The History of Adam’s Family
5 This is the history of Adam’s[a] family. When God created people, he made them like himself.[b] 2 He created them male and female. And on the same day he made them, he blessed them and called them “humans.”[c]
3 After Adam was 130 years old, he had another son. This son looked just like Adam.[d] Adam named his son Seth.

From Adam to Noah
5 This is the written account(A) of Adam’s family line.(B)
When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.(C) 2 He created them(D) male and female(E) and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind”[a] when they were created.
3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image;(F) and he named him Seth.(G)
