²² After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God^(A) 300 years and had other sons and daughters.

⁵ Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister,^(A)’ and didn’t she also say, ‘He is my brother’? I have done this with a clear conscience^(B) and clean hands.^(C)”

¹³ You must be blameless^(A) before the Lord your God.^(B)

⁶ Solomon answered, “You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful^(A) to you and righteous and upright in heart. You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son^(B) to sit on his throne this very day.
